Birds

Over 70 different species of birds have been observed on this wildlife Site. 36 of those species are of particular concern to conservationists, including some SCHEDULE 1 SPECIES that, by law, have to be considered in planning applications, some RED LIST SPECIES and AMBER LIST SPECIES that are of Conservation Concern based on significant loss of population and some species included in the Peak District UK Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP)
