The familiar Robin (Erithacus rubecula) is seen in all the hedges and wooded areas throughout the wildlife site and is ever-present in the garden at Downlee Lodge. One of the cheekier individuals, shown in the photograph, takes food from hand to feed its young in a nest near the barn.
