Four species of goose have been seen grazing on the wet fields, Fields 3, 4, 5, of the Wildlife Site.
Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) are frequently present, sometimes in large numbers, up to a maximum 400 in 2016.
Greylag Goose (Anser anser), is an Amber Listed species of conservation concern. They are seen here in small numbers, maximum 8 in 2014. Sometimes a single Greylag Goose, occasionally a white variety, is seen feeding with a flock of Canada Geese. A pair of Greylag Geese have been seen repeatedly in spring by the pond in Field 3 and more often throughout spring 2020 in the rush pasture field with the scrape, Field 4.
A few Pink-footed Goose (Anser brachyrhynchus), which is Amber Listed, have visited on rare occasions
A Barnacle Goose (Branta leucopsis), also Amber Listed, was seen once in 2020 and again in 2023.
