Loss of habitat to the development of new housing and industrial estates is one of the important threats to wildlife and biodiversity in the Chapel-en-le-Frith Parish countryside.

Planners will only obtain a true picture of wildlife and biodiversity if sightings are reported via the Local Biological Records Centre.
