The Bluebell (Hyainthoides non-scripta) can be seen in springtime in wooded field corners and ancient hedge lines around the Wildlife Site, including Field Corners W1 and W2 (see Map). Also, more surprisingly, a few bluebells occur on the open banking next to the public footpath at the top of Field 2. Bluebells are legally protected under Schedule 8 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act.
