Reed Bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus) are Amber Listed birds of Conservation Concern and are also on the UK BAP List. A few are seen in the Wildlife Site every year. Black headed males are usually seen in spring or early summer perched on fence posts or long rushes in Field 6, Field 3 near the pond or Field 4 near the scrape. Juveniles have been seen in Fields 3 an 4 in August and September.
