Lady's Bedstaw (Galium vernum) and Marsh Bedstraw (Galium palustre) may be seen locally and rarely on the Wildlife Site.
There is a single clump of Lady's Bedstraw in the Wildflower Meadow at Downlee Lodge. The clusters of tiny yellow flowers are seen from June until the meadow is cut, usually in August.
The tiny white flowers of Marsh Bedstraw have been noticed rarely in the wet area, Field 6 and the margin of the pond in Field 3, from June to August.
