Meadow Cranesbill (Geranium-pratens) is commonly seen, flowering from June to August, elsewhere in the UK but is very rarely seen on the Wildlife Site. Single plants have been seen from time to time in the Wildflower Meadow at Downlee Lodge. The shape of the seed heads in the second photograph below shows how the plant got its name.
