Chimney Sweeper

The Chimney Sweeper (Odezia atrata) could be mistaken for a small black butterfly but it is in fact a moth. It flies in daytime in June-July and may be seen around Pignut wildflowers, near the footpath at the top of the hay meadows, Fields 1 and 2.
