The Stoat (Mustela erminea), a small but ferocious predator, is sometimes seen in daytime hunting prey, including rabbits, in the fields of the wildlife site. The black tip on the Stoat's tail distinguishes it from its even smaller relative the Weasel (Mustela nivalis) that is also sometimes seen on the site.
