Deer information - Downlee Wildlife Site

Generally speaking, there are no deer on the Wildlife Site. On rare occasions there have been reports of isolated Red Deer (Cervus elaphus) and Roe Deer (Dama dama) in the vicinity. Only on one occasion have we photographed a young male Red Deer leaving the Site and, only once, a Roe Deer crossing our rush pasture.
